Downtown Ozark, Missouri
An old-English tavern in historic downtown Ozark, built for good drinks, good company, and staying a while.

We're Amos and Shelby Hale. Opening a bar was not part of the plan when we got married. Then we walked into a storefront on Church Street and found stained glass, exposed brick, and woodwork that had been there longer than anyone we know.
We left all of it alone and built an old-English tavern around it. Bring a board game, pull a book off the shelf, and settle in with a drink poured from craft spirits out of Missouri. Nobody here is going to rush you out.
Nine house cocktails, all $14, made the way we like to drink them.

Prosecco, fresh pineapple juice, and a half scoop of pineapple sherbert.

Pea flower infused Ty Iechyd Da Songbird gin, Fruitful Dragonfruit liqueur, dry vermouth, and fresh lemon juice.

Rey Campero Tobala Mezcal, Fruitful Espresso liqueur, butterscotch schnapps, and fresh espresso.
Upcoming nights worth circling on the calendar.
A room on the northeast side of the tavern was originally the cabin of a riverboat. It's available to reserve for private gatherings, small parties, and celebrations. Ask us about booking.
